Rogelio Ancira

Family lawyer and founder, Ancira Law

Born in Yuma, raised in Spanish, and a family lawyer in the town he grew up in.

I opened this office on Main Street to be the lawyer I wished my aunt had when her marriage ended: someone who spoke to her in her own language, told her the cost before it was spent, and returned her calls.

Most of my clients are parents. Many work in the fields, at the base or across the river in California, and some have family in San Luis Río Colorado or Mexicali. I meet early in the morning or by video when a shift won’t move, and I write every plan down so you can read it again at home.

Cases I take

  • Divorce and legal separation
  • Custody and parenting time
  • Child support
  • Protective orders

Maite, the first voice you’ll hear

Maite Lugo has been my paralegal since the office opened. She sets up your first meeting, helps you gather papers, and knows where your case stands on any given day. She speaks Spanish and English.

Maite isn’t a lawyer and can’t give legal advice, but she can tell you what happens next and get your question to me the same day.

Meet Rogelio in person or by video

The first meeting is an hour. You’ll leave with the next steps and the fee in writing.
